Based on your retirement income risk tolerance, Social Security options, retirement savings, and expected tax situation, a customized plan will be designed for you. Each year, we will revisit your progress and make adjustments accordingly. This service will also provide advice on planning and paying for healthcare expenses in retirement including Medicare, Medigap, and Medicare Advantage options.
Free Advice for Certain Households
For households with gross earnings below $75,000, Jim provides one-time free advice on various financial planning topics on Tuesdays from 9AM-1PM EST. To learn more, click here:

Jim has designed his practice based on the concept that lower fees will result in higher amounts of retirement income and future inheritances for heirs. He emphatically believes that lower fees are doable based on the plethora of new high quality financial planning software that is now available and the comfort Americans now have with meeting with an adviser acting in a fiduciary capacity in a virtual setting. He has been awarded three patents, including one on the Social Security Bridge concept which he created in the early 2000s. In 2016, Jim was awarded a HERO Award from the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER), recognizing his work, leadership and commitment in helping women and men achieve financial and retirement security.
A lifelong learner, Jim holds a Master of Science in Financial Services and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Qualified Pension Consultant (QPC), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL).
